Sam Wilkinson

Sam Wilkinson is a director within the Clean Energy Technology research team at S&P Global Commodity Insights, specifically responsible for the company’s research of battery and energy storage markets, working closely with leading global suppliers to develop detailed analysis on these markets. Before establishing the company’s coverage of the energy storage industry in 2012, Mr. Wilkinson focused on the solar PV market and has now amassed more than a decade of experience across these sectors. Mr. Wilkinson’s analysis and commentary is regularly published by leading energy industry media and the global press, and he has also presented at many leading industry events and conferences. Mr. Wilkinson holds a bachelor’s degree in math and engineering from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, and previously worked in structural engineering.
