Graham Campbell is the Head of Distribution System Operations (DSO) within SP Energy Networks (SPEN).
Graham is leading the transition to the smart flexible network of the future by realising SPEN’s ambition of becoming a DSO. This transformation of the distribution system is essential to facilitating the electrification of heat and transport and the connection of low carbon generation. These are critical to realising the UK Government’s net-zero targets and to deliver a better future, quicker for all.
To enable this increasingly electrified low carbon future, SPEN will facilitate the growth in demand and supply from low carbon technologies by becoming a DSO, ensuring its customers gain flexible access to the electricity distribution system.
A respected leader with over 15 years’ experience in the electricity sector, Graham has held number of senior leadership roles within SPEN, mainly in operational engineering areas.
Graham joined SPEN in 2002, having studied a Masters Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. In November, Graham will graduate with an MBA in Global Energy, through both the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and Comillas University in Madrid.
