Jonathan Hick

Jonathan is Fund Manager of Triple Point Energy Transition Plc, and Head of Energy at Triple Point. Triple Point invests capital from a range of investors into assets that accelerate the transition to Net Zero, including Battery Energy Storage Systems. Triple Point’s debt investment into Field won Battery Storage Deal of the year in 2022.

Jonathan joined Triple Point in April 2021 and has over 14 years of experience advising on and investing in transactions worth in excess of £3bn in the UK and internationally.

Jonathan has spent the majority of his career making investments in the energy transition space including solar, wind, hydro-electric power, biomass, combined heat and power, gas peakers, energy efficiency, and battery energy storage technologies. Prior to joining Triple Point Jonathan worked at a renewables private equity investor, Armstrong Capital, and started his career in the M&A team at PwC.
