Maximilian Schumacher is responsible for the Business Development of the Electric Thermal Energy Storage (ETES) technology developed by Siemens Gamesa. The main task is to bring the ETES technology from the R&D phase into the market. Previous to his current role he gained experience in the strategy department at Siemens Wind Power, in the R&D department at Enercon and at Neon a boutique consultancy specialized on electricity markets. Maximilian holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and studied in Berlin/Germany, Aman/Jordan, Cottbus/Germany and Damascus/Syria.
