Ed Smithies

Ed has worked within the transmission and distribution manufacturing industry for over 30 years, initially as an apprentice trained in MV switchgear. With experience within the UK and Export markets, Ed has led and developed sales & commercial teams for over 12 years. Prior to joining Wilson Power Solutions in 2019, Ed worked within LV. He is now focused on expanding the company’s product and service offering to support growing sectors such as BESS, renewables, Data Centres and EV charging.
