Markus Ovaskainen

Markus is the Director in charge of Sales & Marketing at Merus Power and also a member of the executive team. He has personal experience of 8 years in BESS business. The experience started with a more technically oriented career in R&D, developing the power park controller software, and commissioning the first pioneering BESS projects in Finland on site. Later Markus transitioned into sales & marketing. Merus Power is the market leader for battery energy storage systems in Finland and the longest experience of getting BESSs accepted in Finnish reserve markets. Merus Power does their BESS projects with full EPC projects, with proprietary PCS and EMS technology that is manufactured and designed in Finland.
