John Hasar

John is Director of Business Development at Invinity Energy Systems, the market leader in flow batteries with LDES applications delivering significant system and consumer benefits. John has had operational and financing experiences in energy infrastructure, technology commercialization, and antitrust/competition regulation. He is currently delivering on ambitious, innovative, and transformative goals at Invinity based out of San Francisco.

John was Head of Risk at Competition and Markets Authority in London and he was previously Senior Innovation Manager focused on commercializing low carbon energy technologies at BEIS (DESNZ). Prior to this, he had the opportunity for 6 years to work at the ConocoPhillips headquarters in Texas, Alaska, and UK business units gaining exposure to infrastructure engineering, arctic operations, offshore production, opportunity management, and major infrastructure projects. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 2010 and he completed an LL.M (Master of Laws) degree at the University of Aberdeen in 2014.
