Sean Grundy

Sean joined Zurich Resilience Solutions in September 2019. As a Chartered Engineer, Sean has played a key role in developing and implementing risk management programmes for UK and international operational and construction risks underwritten by Zurich. He provides technical leadership across Engineering, Property and Liability Underwriters, Claims, Clients, and third-party agents. More recently, Sean has led the development of market-facing services, with a particular focus on energy transition and sustainability risks.

Sean previously worked for Siemens UK Plc as the O&M Asset Manager at Severn Power Station, where he initiated the successful adoption of the ISO 55001 asset management standard and fostered a risk-based O&M culture. Sean also brings valuable experience from the Middle East, where he delivered successful technical, operational, and commercial improvement programmes for asset owners and government bodies with KEMA and DNVGL, helping them to achieve enhanced performance and profitability.
