Brian Perusse

Brian Perusse is the Managing Director for Fluence’s UK and Ireland business, and has over 16 years of experience in the energy storage industry. During his tenure with Fluence (including its predecessor, AES Energy Storage), Brian has held several leadership roles, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and innovation.

Before his current role, Brian led the EMEA Sales and Market Development organisation (2021–2024) and the Americas Sales organisation (2020–2021). Under his leadership, these teams secured more than $2 billion in new orders, including some of the world’s most innovative energy storage projects. Earlier in his career at Fluence and AES Energy Storage, Brian headed Global Strategic Marketing and Communications, overseeing global marketing, customer experience, product marketing, and brand development initiatives, as well as Market Development activities across North America, South America, and Europe.

A former Peace Corps volunteer, Brian holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA with honours from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He currently resides in London, UK.
