Amanda Niklaus

Amanda is a seasoned energy professional with over a decade of experience spanning Europe, Australia, and the US. With a background as an energy consultant, analyst, and economist, she brings deep expertise in power markets, trading strategies, and commercial structuring for new energy technologies.

Throughout her career, Amanda has trained more than 1000 energy stakeholders across Europe, Asia, and Australia in power market dynamics and energy risk management.

She currently serves as Global Head of Markets at Global Head of Markets, where she leads the company’s commercial strategy and positioning across key markets. Prior to this, Amanda was Head of Department – Origination at Swiss utility BKW, where she established and expanded their PPA business throughout Europe. She also worked as a Senior Consultant at Pexapark, advising clients on commercial energy risk and market entry strategy.
