Christina Huber

Christina Maria Huber is SolarPower Europe’s Senior Policy Advisor on Sustainability, where she takes on the coordination of the association’s product sustainability workstream. Prior to joining SolarPower Europe, Christina worked for the Austrian clean-tech scale-up neoom, where she led the company’s sustainability strategy, its implementation and has focused on topics such as carbon footprints, battery storage and waste management. She also gained experience in technical assistance for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects previously working with international development banks, and continues to teach an introductory university course on the energy transition at the Technical University of Vienna. Christina brings strong private sector expertise to SolarPower Europe’s policy work, underpinned by a multidisciplinary academic background. She holds a B.Sc. in International Business from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and an M.Sc. in Environmental Technology and International Affairs – a joint program of the Technical University of Vienna and the Vienna School of International Studies. A native German speaker, Christina also speaks English and French, as well as some Italian and Japanese.
