Bex Sherwood

Head of Development at Field, a UK based battery storage developer. Field has a strong UK pipeline and is developer, owner, operator and optimiser of its assets.

Bex has been in renewables for over 13 years, previously working at major utilities consenting offshore wind farms. As Head of Development, Bex oversees all of Field’s greenfield projects as well as working closely on key industry issues such as Connections Reform, the Strategic Spatial Energy Plan, and LDES. Bex also chairs the Electricity Storage Network’s planning working group – this group was established in 2024 to try and address planning issues which may otherwise impact delivery of CP30.
