Caroline Wright leads the strategic market development for Wärtsilä Energy Storage & Optimisation (ES&O) as General Manager for Europe, UK and Ireland she is focused on driving strategic growth and key market development initiatives.

With extensive experience in the storage and the renewable energy industry, Caroline’s experiences range from investment, development, and growth across utility-scale energy storage to large-scale solar PV and onshore wind. Caroline has held various positions across Wärtsilä ES&O, focused on UK and Ireland. Prior to joining Wärtsilä, Caroline worked in Tesla’s battery storage business focused on growth in the UK and Ireland, and has a long-standing background in Private Equity, Family offices, Acquisitions. She is passionate about all things related to decarbonisation.
