Denis Prokopczyk

Denis Prokopczyk is Sales Director CEE at SUNWODA Electronic Co., Ltd., a Chinese technology company specialising in the research and manufacture of lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and BESS systems, from cell to complete storage solutions. SUNWODA’s motto is “Each cell hand crafted.” The company has operated in lithium battery manufacturing since 1997.

In his current role, Denis leads SUNWODA’s utility-scale BESS business across Central and Eastern Europe. He is responsible for market positioning and long-term growth. He also supports project development to expand energy storage capacity across the CEE region.

Previously, Denis served as Sales Director at SUNWODA EVB (SEVB), the group’s EV battery business. He led lithium cell sales, working closely with local BESS integrators and supporting European energy storage system manufacturers with technical and commercial guidance.

Before joining SUNWODA in 2023, Denis worked at AlphaESS Germany, a BESS manufacturer with PCS activities, where he held strategy and sales roles.
