James serves as Head of Business Development at Clarke Energy, leading strategic growth across a portfolio of advanced energy solutions. With more than two decades of experience in technical sales and commercial management, he brings a deep understanding of resilient, efficient and low‑carbon power systems.
Before joining Clarke Energy, James held the role of Sales Manager at GE Critical Power, supporting mission‑critical industries with high‑reliability electrical infrastructure. He graduated with an honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2003.
At Clarke Energy, James is responsible for developing opportunities across a broad range of technologies, including data centre power solutions, battery energy storage systems, hydrogen applications and gas peaking plants. His technical expertise and sector insight enable customers to navigate the energy transition with confidence, delivering solutions that increase resilience while supporting net‑zero carbon emissions.
