Ken Rahn

Ken Rahn is the Vice President of Marketing and Customer Solutions at FlexGen, where he leads strategic initiatives that bridge the worlds of advanced energy storage and mission-critical reliability for data center operators. Based in San Francisco, Ken combines deep technology expertise with customer-centric leadership, holding a BA in Organizational Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and two years of applied sciences in biomaterials.

Ken’s career began in the U.S. Navy, where he led a team of over 50 Nuclear Electronics Technicians responsible for maintaining high-availability systems under demanding operational conditions. This foundation in precision, reliability, and teamwork has shaped his approach to the rapidly evolving energy landscape — particularly in supporting industries that require uncompromising uptime and power quality, such as hyperscale and enterprise data centers.

Before joining FlexGen, Ken held leadership roles at NRG Energy, Medallia, and Iterable, where he guided teams through high-growth phases, including multiple pre- and post-IPO transitions. He brings a proven ability to scale complex technology solutions and align them with customer needs across the energy and SaaS sectors.

At FlexGen, Ken is focused on positioning the company’s HybridOS® platform and Battery Energy Storage Systems as key enablers of resilient, sustainable infrastructure for digital facilities. He’s particularly excited about FlexGen’s role in helping data centers integrate renewable generation and storage to reduce emissions while maintaining the reliability and flexibility critical to their operations.
