Michael Benson

Michael Benson recently joined Invest Victoria and is focused on promoting the wide range of opportunities Victoria offers to global investors. Prior to this, he worked at Scottish Development International, where he supported the promotion of Scotland’s renewable energy sector and developed a strong understanding of the critical role energy storage plays in maximising renewable generation and reducing energy lost due to infrastructure constraints.

He has also previously worked at the UK India Business Council, providing him with valuable experience in engaging with diverse international markets and developing the commercial insight required to shape and support successful global expansion strategies.
