Michael Bogdan

Michael’s expertise is in the global insurance portfolios of renewable energy assets. He designs insurance programmes for utility and private equity clients requiring robust solutions that stand up to the scrutiny of lenders and other key project stakeholders. Michael has been working with wind and solar asset owners since 2009 to bolster commercial adoption of energy transition technologies. In 2014, he supported a large wind and solar developer’s partnership with a Chinese battery integrator for their rollout into the US market. In 2019, he introduced a new battery system to the London insurance market. This technology has since become a market leader with widespread acceptance in the insurance market.
