Naomi Baker

Naomi works for the energy trade association, Energy UK, leading their work on demand side response (DSR) and energy storage. Naomi chaired the industry working group that worked with National Grid ESO to design the Demand Flexibility Service (DFS), as a route to market for domestic DSR during the gas crisis. Naomi then worked with members on long duration storage (existing and emergent tech) and, in early 2024, set up a new monthly working group to support members with storage assets. Naomi has an MBA in Strategic Carbon Management and has worked in policy and programme management, across the sustainability /built environment (carbon management, retrofit, heat, energy efficiency)
