Ramy Shahat

Ramy Shahat is a cleantech-driven Mechatronics Engineer with a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Management from the Technische Hochschule Köln, Germany, and over a decade of experience in the renewable energy sector.

Since 2018, Ramy has been at the forefront of battery storage innovation, beginning with vehicle battery thermal management and solid-state battery research at the Innovation Center of Evonik Industries AG. In 2020, he transitioned to Trina Storage, where he has been driving the sales and adoption of utility-scale BESS solutions across diverse markets and stakeholders. Fueled by an unwavering passion for energy storage, Ramy thrives on the challenges and opportunities within the ever-evolving battery landscape. And yes—he’s never bored working with batteries.
