Richard Batty

Richard A. Batty, BSc (Engineering), MBA, is the Technical Manager for e-Storage in the UK. With a career rooted in renewable energy since 2009, and having founded his own solar PV company, Richard contributed his expertise to inverter manufacturers, including a notable six-year stint with SMA.

In his current role at Canadian Solar’s e-STORAGE, he coordinates the technical aspects of utility-scale battery energy storage projects in the UK, showcasing his extensive experience in the sector.
