Clean Power Analyst Energy Transitions Commission

Sam is an analyst at the Energy Transitions Commission, a global coalition of leaders from across the energy industry committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Sam is focusing on power system modelling and analysis to accelerate power system decarbonisation and the wider energy transition, and was the supporting lead author for the ETC’s Power Systems Transformation: Delivering Competitive, Resilient Electricity in High-Renewable Systems report, published in July 2025.

Previously, Sam was a senior consultant in ERM’s Renewables Advisory division, supporting a range of clients in technical areas of offshore wind project development in key markets around the world. Sam holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Renewable Energy with First Class Honours.
