Camila Pombo

Camila (she/her) is an energy storage professional with 3+ years of experience in the US power markets. She currently works as a Senior Market Operations Analyst for Key Capture Energy, one of Texas’ biggest battery developers and market participants, with a 350+MW BESS portfolio. Camila has extensive experience in the ERCOT market and battery optimization models. Her day-to-day deals with maintaining and updating KCE’s proprietary auto bidding software to meet market regulations while maximizing asset revenue and building KCE’s competitive benchmarking and backcasting capabilities. Before joining Key Capture Energy, she worked for Imperial Utilities & Sustainability as an Energy Data Analyst, assisting clients to decrease their electricity consumption and lower utility costs. Camila holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Energy & Sustainability from the University of Houston. She recently moved to London from Houston and was born and raised in Mexico City. She lives happily in Clapham with her husband and her beloved tortie cat Oksana.
