Christopher Groves

Christopher leads Wärtsilä Energy Storage & Optimisation’s hardware engineering projects related to energy storage system fire and safety compliance, testing, and R&D. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has extensive industry experience cross-cutting energy government and automotive sectors. Christopher is Wärtsilä’s spokesperson on NFPA’s ESRC (Energy Storage Research Consortium) to support industry-relevant fire protection issues and identify related research needs. He is dedicated to advance Wärtsilä’s mission to be a leading energy storage integrator with the highest regard for safety.
