David Hebert

David Hebert is the Global Director of Sales Management for the Wärtsilä Energy Storage & Optimisation business unit at Wärtsilä Energy, focused on providing market-leading energy storage technologies to help customers reduce their carbon footprint, adopt renewable energy, and build more resilient grids. He has over thirty years of experience as a business management professional, with over fifteen years of achievements in the renewable energy and energy storage market sectors. Prior to joining Wärtsilä, David served as Vice President of Congruitive, a software company providing control platforms to utilities and renewable energy producers such as Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) and Southern California Edison (SCE). He has also held senior roles at several companies developing energy storage, solar, virtual power plants, and microgrids across the utility, C&I, and residential sectors, including: Enel X, Sunverge Energy, Petra Systems, Satcon Technology, AEG Power Solutions, and Spire Corporation.
