Richard Wagstaff

Richard has 15 years of experience developing and building renewable energy projects in Europe and, more recently, the US. He leads Gore Street Capital’s development and construction team in building out the international portfolio. Richard previously worked for the developer RES, where he built wind farms and energy storage facilities across Europe and contributed to global development activities. This experience has required Richard to keep track of numerous regulations related to the safe and secure use of battery energy storage systems. He has championed training to ensure staff are fully aware of the implications of existing and incoming battery directives. Richard holds a master’s degree in civil and structural engineering from the University of Leeds.
