Timothy Engstrom

Tim is the Chief Technology Officer for Elysia – Battery Intelligence from WAE. In his current role, he leads cross-functional development teams with expertise in data science, battery systems and electrochemistry, developing software products to maximise the performance, reliability and safety of battery systems.

After graduating with a Master’s Degree from Imperial College London, Tim began his career at a major automotive OEM, where he was lead engineer for a hybrid battery, delivering the commodity through to a successful launch into multiple vehicle programmes & high-volume production.
