Alex Howard

Alex Howard works in the Smart Grid team at UK Power Networks (UKPN). He is focused on how to take UKPN’s use of flexibility to the next level, including through closer to real-time procurement and improved technology. Before joining UKPN, Alex held product, strategy and research roles at Octopus Energy and Origami – where he worked closely with flexibility providers (batteries, gas peakers, DSR) in ancillary service and wholesale markets.
