Alex Mitchell

Alex is a chartered town planner and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from over 15 years in the development industry. Having previously worked for a number of Planning consultancies and Local Authorities, he has worked on behalf of a Wind developers, national housing developers and managed contentious Planning Applications from start to finish; he is a dynamic planner who thrives in public engagement events and has spoken at many Planning Committees across the country in both support and in objection to applications.
Alex leads the Planning team and works closely with the Directors, development and delivery teams, along with the external consultants, to ensure planning risks are understood and minimised wherever possible. He is excited by the fast-moving energy sector and wants to ensure that Arlington stay ahead of the curve, being able to gain successful planning consents in a timely manner with minimal delays.
