Dr Avi Aithal is the Head of the Open Networks programme at Energy Networks Association.
Utilising his expertise in laying the foundations of a smart grid in Great Britain, Avi works closely with the network operators, Government, stakeholders, and industry in shaping the roadmap for a Net Zero future.
Avi is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with a masters in Electrical Energy Systems and a PhD in Smart Grid. He has more than 13 years of experience working in the energy sector, eight of which were in the UK future energy system landscape.
