Gabriele Buccini

Gabriele Buccini graduated in engineering at the University of Pisa, Italy, and has over 15 years of experience in commercial roles with major companies in the energy sector. In 2005, he joined Ansaldo Energia to manage sales and local operations in various areas in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. He transitioned to renewable energy in 2013 with GE Renewables as the head of commercial operations for geothermal and CSP projects in Africa. In 2018, he joined Wärtsilä and he is currently in charge of business development for energy storage solutions in Africa, Europe and Asia.
