At Eelpower, Katherine is responsible for the strategic development of the company’s platform of battery storage assets. This role includes structuring battery storage asset investment with Eelpower’s investor partners such as SUSI and NextEnergy Solar Fund (NESF). Katherine also leads the company’s working relationships with key stakeholders including specialist developers, National Grid, the distribution companies, landowners, planning authorities. Prior to Eelpower, Katherine led solar and storage project development and M&A at the major utility SSE, and was previously at global renewables investor Foresight. Over the course of her career she has been responsible for delivering multiple utility scale wind, solar and energy storage projects and associated financing structures. These were some of the very first infra fund backed energy storage projects in the market.
