Matt is the Assistant Director for Response at Kent Fire & Rescue Service. He is also the Alternative Fuels and Energy Systems lead officer for the National Fire Chiefs Council. His role involves liaising with fire services, government, industry, and academia to understand and develop effective approaches to managing the risks posed by new technologies, such as lithium-ion batteries.
