Nicola Waters

Nicola has worked in the energy sector for the last 12 years. She started her career in pre-subsidy solar and then moved to large solar farm development and storage. It was clear that grid capacity was key to the success of the renewable and storage sectors, so  Nicola proactively created a grid-working group and became one of the intermediaries between network utilities and asset developers. Nicola is passionate about flexibility and is now COO at Electron, a software company that enables local flexibility market places to be easily created and operated meaning that energy and power can be used in the right place, at the right time for the right price.
