Sonia Quiterio

Sonia is New Business Director for Conrad Energy. She has global experience across a range of energy businesses. She is specialised in leading the Investment Case of energy projects with different technologies in the UK and globally. For Conrad Energy, Sonia is driving the strategy to introduce energy storage and net zero technologies to their portfolio.

Sonia previously led the investment Case for the 120MW battery portfolio of UK Power Reserve in the UK that is currently operational, and built their international expansion business case for Australia, Mexico and other emerging markets, sourcing 1.3GW of projects of stand-alone batteries, collocated storage with renewables and gas in these markets.
Previous to these roles, Sonia held different leadership roles in General Electric in three different business, Nuclear, Power & Water, and Aviation.

Sonia Won a Young Energy Professionals Award for the international work in Australia and other countries in 2018, championing clean tech storage projects to support system decarbonisation around the world.

Sonia was recently featured as “Top 40 Women Leaders in Energy Storage”.
