Caroline Wright

Caroline Wright leads the UK and Ireland business development activities for the Energy Storage & Optimisation business line at Wärtsilä. She has an extensive record of accomplishment and experience in the renewable energy sector, more recently working with Tesla in their battery storage business. Her experience ranges from large utility scale battery projects to development and acquisitions of large scale solar PV and onshore wind. She has been working with developers, investment groups and family offices to acquire and build valuable portfolios of projects. She values strong teamwork, transparency and creative thinking combined with the ability to be agile in an ever-changing market. Caroline is excited about the role battery storage has in the future renewable energy system both in the UK and globally to reach our ever more important carbon reduction targets.
