Peter Bance

Peter has spent his career commercialising technology and building high-growth ventures in the climate tech sector. Following a PhD in physics at Oxford University and leading the stock market flotation of an electrochemistry business as CEO, he then founded Origami while acting as ‘Entrepreneur-in-Residence’ at Octopus Investments.

In parallel with his executive career, Peter has also influenced government policy and market design related to the transition to net zero, advocating for the adoption of powerful digital solutions and for the increasingly vital role of energy flexibility from assets like BESS.
