STIF is a french company created in 1984 specialized in manufacturing explosion protection products. The Electricity Storage Network (ESN), managed by Regen, was established in 2008 as the UK industry group dedicated to electricity storage. It includes a broad range of electricity storage technologies and members, such as electricity storage manufacturers and suppliers, project developers, users, electricity network operators, academic institutions, and research organisations. The ESN provides our members with a stronger voice with key regulators, shaping the policy agenda for issues affecting the deployment and role of electricity storage. The Faraday Institution is the UK’s independent institute for electrochemical energy storage research, skills development, market analysis, and early-stage commercialisation. It brings together research scientists and industry partners on projects with commercial potential that will reduce battery cost, weight, and volume; improve performance and reliability, and develop whole-life strategies including recycling and reuse. The Faraday Institution research programme spans ten major research projects in lithium-ion and beyond lithium-ion technologies.
