Tao Han

Tao Han is the Chief Representative of the Windey European Research Centre in Bristol, where he oversees their research and development efforts in Europe. He focuses on advanced control algorithms, high-performance computing, energy management systems, machine learning algorithms, and digital twin solutions for both wind energy and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Before joining Windey, Tao held various roles at DNV from 2011 to 2019. During his tenure, he not only led project teams supporting Tier 1 OEMs in developing cutting-edge wind turbines but also played a key role in developing advanced control algorithms and digital twin solutions. With over 12 years of experience, he specializes in digital solutions, particularly control algorithms for wind turbines and battery energy storage systems.
