Carlos Javier

Carlos Javier is an entrepreneur in renewable energy. He has over 17 year experience in Engineering, negotiation and strategic sales, with in excess of £1billion in deals originated and/or delivered across Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland and Italy on clean energy. Carlos Javier has founded different companies, looking at the new opportunities that the solar market is offering on its unstoppable growth. His last venture is the Asset Management division of Elgin Energy driving projects from origination with the optimum performance and availability. Carlos holds an executive MBA and has considerable experience in portfolio management and project finance and was the Technical Director at Next Energy Capital, with over 1GW of assets under management (AuM). As Head of Engineering at UK based Lark Energy (2012-2015) he has designed, and overseen the installation of, more than 200MW of UK based projects. Carlos’ projects have won prestigious Solar Power Portal Awards in 2013 (Wymeswold), 2014 (Ketton) and 2019 (Lamby) (Large-scale Ground Mount).
