Eoin Kennedy is Head of Future Operations at EirGrid Group, which is the electricity Transmission System Operator and Market Operator in Ireland and Northern Ireland. In this role, he is responsible for leading EirGrid’s programme of work to develop and put in place the operational systems, tools, services and policies required to operate the Ireland and Northern Ireland power system in 2030. Eoin holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering from Dublin City University and an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
