Rachel Hayes, associate director Regen and director Electricity Storage Network
With 12 years’ experience in the energy sector, Rachel has recently returned to Regen following her secondment in the strategy team in the Cabinet Office working on COP26.
She leads Regen’s networks and development, as well as the organisation’s events, policy and communications, raising our profile as a key national voice at the forefront of the energy transition.
Rachel leads the development of our membership strategy – delivering value to member companies and harnessing insight for Regen members and The Electricity Storage Network.
Rachel founded a thriving national Women in Renewables network, ReWiRE, to ensure the transition to net zero reflects the needs and interests of our diverse society and received a British Empire Medal in 2017 for her services to the energy sector, in particular, her work supporting the development of women in the sector.
